Question: How long is jet ski rental?

Answer: We rent jet skis for one hour time limits.  We do not offer less than one hour and do not offer more than one hour rentals.  We have found that one hour is the perfect amount of time for you to get all the excitement and thrills you are looking for in operating a jet ski; but not too much time that you find yourself looking for things to do that might get you in trouble or worse, cause you or others injury.  IF after one hour you come back and want to go for another hour, no problem!  But we think you will find the hour just the right amount of time.

Question:  Where can I drive my jet ski and will there be a guide?

Answer:  We have a designated riding area within the Intracoastal Waterway that is approximatley 5 miles long and several hundred yards wide.  Specifially, it is the Intracoastal Waterway between the Ocean Isle Beach bridge and the Sunset Beach bridge.  We offer a "free-ride" rental, which means you are not guided.

Question:  I've never driven a jet ski before.  Do I need experience?  Will you show me what to do?

Answer:  You do not need experience, and yes, we will give every operator a complete and thorough orientation of the equipment and how to operate it safely.  Remember, you are in control of the speed by how much you press the throttle.  If you are unsure, simply slow down.  And certainly do not leave the dock without a complete understanding of how to operate the equipment

Question:  What are the age requirements for renting/driving/riding a jet ski?

Answer:  In order to operate a jet ski you must be 18 years of age or older (A valid ID must be presented at the time of rental).  The exception to being 18 is an operator may drive if he/she is between the ages of 14-17 years AND his/her legal parent accompanies him/her on the jet ski.  A passenger must be at least 6 years of age to ride on a jet ski.
